The Boat

Wightdiver is a 38ft/11.5m Cygnus Revenge hardboat fully licensed by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) to operate up to 60 miles from any safe haven.

With a beam of over 4 metres, she has in excess of 30 square metres of deck space and is one of the largest vessels in her class.

Every diver has a seat that will support their tanks with storage for bags, dive gear and stage cylinders underneath.

Just set up all of your equipment before leaving the mooring (enjoying the customary cup of tea or coffee) and enjoy the ride to the dive site.

Facilities on board include:

- A diver lift

- Toilet

- Dry area for changing

- Stove & oven, feel free to bring bacon for those early starts

Once there, simply sit down, strap on your gear and go diving.

Wightdiver is powered by a 650HP Iveco marine diesel engine and has a cruising speed of 11 knots. With a light load, she can reach a top speed of 18 knots, getting you out to those distant sites with the minimum of fuss.
